Running an international writing studio has been one of the most enriching and eye-opening literature experiences of my life. Every day, I engage with clients from all corners of the world, each bringing unique perspectives, cultural influences, and storytelling styles. Yet, despite our cultural differences, I’ve found one thing that seem to always unite us all—anime! Whether it’s discussing intricate world-building, compelling character arcs, or the emotional depth of a well-written series, anime serves as a common ground that bridges gaps and fosters creativity across borders. We didn’t post this sooner because we didn’t want to jinx it, but today is actually the 3rd month of our first-ever monthly membership support for a long time! The last time a membership lasted this long was over 3 years ago, back when #Writing Commission Studio was still pretty new in the commission business. For more information about what membership with us means, you basically pledge to us a certain amount, like Patreon or Kickstarter. The rewards, of course, circulates around custom stories and our specialized add-ons!

Despite a significant drop on April, just a shy one previous month before, May 2020 proves to be our best top-earning yet so far, earning $4,000 in total! Performance and rate on returning customers prove to be rising, strangely, despite the world’s economic situation. Perhaps it’s just luck? Either way, as long as customers are there, we are pleased to deliver!

Last time, our highest total order was $1,200. And now, it has been extended to $800 more! That’s $2,000 in total! Definitely the highest number — and longest project — we’ve had in a while, as the latest addition brings up the total word count to 40,000 words! Plus 4 sets of drawings in total (1 free as courtesy from us).

This might just be our best record-breaking event yet… Almost! But it looks like fortune is not on our side today, as the client found a friend to write for them instead (which, would you believe it or not, is one of the most common occurrences regarding project cancellations). It was a pretty wonderful close call, though! Wish us luck next time! (This event occurred on mid May 2020.)

We’ve done it again, folks! Biggest payment in a single purchase: This time over $1,250! — (15 March 2020) It was unexpectedly a smooth transaction. With such a huge budget, we were able to do a lot for this commission project. We hope for a great repeat again sometime soon!
